Database of translators and interpreters

With this database of translators and interpreters, the State Justice administrations have created a platform to provide information on the officially authorized, appointed and sworn-in translators and interpreters in the individual states of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The official authorization, appointment and swearing-in of translators and interpreters shall be governed by the laws of the individual States of the Federal Republic of Germany, and are therefore subject to state-specific requirements.

This site provides an option to search for individual or combined features of translators and interpreters by name, location or language. Click on any of the search results to display additional details, such as languages or contact information.
